1. Introduction

Your privacy is our priority. Unlike most apps, **HydroLog does not collect, store, or share your personal data on external servers.** All health and hydration data is processed locally on your device and within Apple's secure HealthKit environment.

2. Apple Health (HealthKit)

HydroLog requests access to Apple Health to provide a seamless tracking experience. We only interact with the following data points if you explicitly grant permission:

• Water: To save your intake and read your daily history.
• Caffeine & Dietary Energy: To log nutritional metadata from drinks.
• Alcohol Content: To track standard drink units.
• Body Mass (Weight): To automatically calculate your hydration goals (35ml/kg).

3. Data Retention

Because we do not use servers, we do not have a copy of your data. If you delete the app or your data from Apple Health, it is permanently gone unless you have an iCloud backup.

4. Third-Party Services

HydroLog uses Apple's standard services (iCloud, App Store) for syncing across your devices and managing your Premium purchase. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
